We offer a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across our four academic schools, including business, arts, media, creative technology, science, engineering, environment, health and society studies.
When you study with us, you’ll find industry-standard facilities and pioneering research across our three multi-cultural campuses. From our state-of-the-art simulation suites and Human Performance Laboratory to our fully climate-controlled research facility, Energy House 2.0 and our creative hub, New Adelphi, which is home to our art and design students.
One of our campuses is based at MediaCity; one of the UK’s leading creative and digital hubs plus home to organisations including the BBC and ITV. Our facilities at MediaCity reflect the professional studios we’re surrounded by. If you’re a student based here, you’ll have access to facilities including production suites, TV studios, a TV newsroom and green screen studios.
Excellent research is a key part of who we are. We are a research-driven institution, using innovation and creativity to find solutions to real-world problems. Our multi-disciplinary research environment is recognized around the world, attracting more than 4,500 international students to study at Salford.
With Manchester city centre only a 20-minute walk from our beautiful and green Peel Park campus, the University of Salford is a great place to study. Manchester is one of the UK’s diverse cities and boasts one of the largest student populations in Europe. You’ll be surrounded by world-class football teams, a varied music scene and a selection of museums and art galleries, plus lots of shops and restaurants.
