As a student at Manchester Metropolitan University, you will not have the added worry of finding somewhere suitable to live.
All international students are guaranteed a place in our university student accommodation as long as you are in your first year of study and apply before the August deadline.
They offer an excellent choice of accommodation at Manchester Metropolitan University, from en-suite rooms in shared flats to traditional bedrooms with shared kitchens, bathrooms and flats just for postgraduate students.
Rooms are located very close to where you will study and near to local facilities including shops, restaurants and cafés. There are also excellent transport links to help you explore the area. All of our student rooms are in buildings with a 24-hour security presence so that you can feel safely at home in your new space.

The University Halls of Residence is called Orlando Village and is approximately 10 minutes away from the main campus. There are 381 self-catered, single study rooms available and we offer a first year guarantee to those who apply for halls before the deadline in July. The cost of Halls does vary slightly from year to year, so please check the website for the most up to date figures, however this includes essential services such as heating, lighting, hot water, wifi, £5,000 personal contents insurance, some cleaning services and 24 hour security patrol.

The university offers a range of accommodation options, including separate halls for undergraduates and postgraduates, as well as halls comprising of a mix of both. The university also has a mix of catered halls and self-catered halls, and offer accommodation in the city centre, Victoria Park, and Fallowfield, all within 3 miles of the the University campus.
